IDEAG 2026 Updates

+70% More Space, +40% More Tables

The biggest news this year is the increase in event space, which grows from about 450 m² to around 800 m² — that’s over 70% more room!
This year’s edition will be held across three halls: in addition to Sala Nabucco and Sala Amelia, we’ve added the Auditorium, bringing the total to nearly 100 tables — up from 68 last year, a 40% increase.

And the best part: we’ve done this without losing the overall sense of connection.
Both Sala Nabucco and the Auditorium overlook the hotel’s main hall and are virtually connected, while Sala Amelia will remain more secluded and will host IdeaGDR only on Saturday.

+20% More Space Between Tables

We’ve reduced table density by about 18% in Sala Nabucco, while in the Auditorium the layout will be even more spacious, offering around 22% more room with high ceilings and better air circulation!

+10% Participation Fee

We’ve achieved the impossible!
Despite the growth in tables, space, and air quality, we’ve managed to limit the participation fee increase to just +10%, keeping IDEAG once again accessible to everyone.

To achieve this balance, access to the event halls will now be limited to registered participants only.
This means that every attending designer must be registered as a Game Designer.
We’ll also ask for this small registration effort from Playtesters and Bloggers, because IDEAG continues to exist thanks to the cooperation of all participants.

1-Day and 2-Day Tables

We’ve also revised our table booking policy:

  • The Auditorium will host about 40 tables (Small shared tables, Medium, and Large ones), all bookable only for both days (Saturday + Sunday).
Yes, that’s right — 40 tables available exclusively for the full weekend.
  • Sala Nabucco will feature about 58 tables, divided between Medium and Large sizes, bookable for a single day (either Saturday or Sunday), with different contribution rates between the two days.

Sala Amelia will host RPG designers (IdeaGDR) on Saturday.
We are currently looking for an alternative room directly connected to the main hall, and we hope to announce this before registrations open.
